As many of you have probably heard Nevada Chap Program will be ending and NCD will no longer accept applications after 01/21/2023 at 7:00pm PST. Applications will only be accepted, if you are on a FIXED INCOME AND RECEIVED AN EVICTION NOTICE.
APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED PRIOR TO 01/23/2023, WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROCESSED FOR ASSISTANCE. DO NOT BE ALARMED! NCD, WILL ALERT YOU WHEN A CASE WORKER HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO YOUR CASE.

APPLY FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE ONLINE OR APPLY BY PHONE: (913) 336-0030.
Once your application is received, we will process your application immediately following submission, to determine eligibility. Administrators will be processing final applications THIS SATURDAY 01/21/2023 until 7:00 p.m. PST. Your Landlord will be notified that you are enrolled in the Relief Program by receiving a NEW Landlord Declaration.
If you receive an Eviction Notice while your application is PENDING, NCD will continue to prepare and file a Tenant Answer for you with the Las Vegas Justice Court, North Las Vegas Justice Court and/or Henderson Justice Court. If you would like to attend court by Telephone or Video you must submit a request at least 10 days prior to a scheduled court hearing by calling (913) 336-0030
DID YOU KNOW? Nevada residents ARE allowed to apply for a Tenant Answer after the program end date. No pending rental application or COVID impact is REQUIRED.
PLEASE NOTE; If ANY adult in your household receives benefits such as:
(Fixed Income)-SSI, SSD, Etc.
Your household is eligible to receive rental and utility assistance.
Applications will be accepted starting November 01, 2022 until June 2023 or until the program funds are depleted.
FINAL PORTAL AUDITS: Some of you received an email regarding your portal access. Final Audits will be conducted on 01/20/2023.
Failure to comply, your application WILL be withdrawn from the program. Applications that are withdrawn, Tenants WILL NOT be allowed to resubmit a new application and your Landlord will be notified. CHAP PROGRAM HAS ENDED
Note from Management: It was a pleasure to help assist the people in Nevada, in your time of need. We thank all the Landlords for your cooperation and we understand that this was a long journey. The fact that your Tenants entered into this program and complied with every process in effort to get the current and past due rent paid was epic.
